Dr. Thomas L. Moffett

Born in Indiana, raised and educated in suburban Philadelphia, Dr. Moffett has lived in Hummelstown and practiced in Harrisburg for over 25 years. He graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1972, served in the United States Navy Dental Corps and was a member of the Naval reserve dental unit of Philadelphia. He has taken a significant number of continuing education courses in all phases of clinical and managerial dentistry. His most outstanding accomplishment was his completion of six levels of clinical mastership at the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Continuing Dental Education in Miami, Florida. His primary interest is in providing comprehensive general dentistry with an emphasis on restorative, crown and bridge, and implants. He is married, has three children, is a Mason, is active in his church, loves athletics and sports, and lives to help people preserve their teeth and dental health.

 

Dr. William L. Moffett

Dr. Thomas Moffett is honored to announce that his son, Bill, has decided to follow in his footsteps as a dentist and even more so that he has chosen to work along his side at Moffett Dental Center. For many of you, Dr. Bill needs no introduction as he was raised in Hershey and is an active member of our community.

Dr. Bill completed Hershey High School with honors and continued at Wake Forest University in Winston Salem, NC where he graduated with a degree in communications. During his tenure there, Dr. Bill was part of a vocal accapella group, as well as president of his chapter of Sigma Chi Fraternity. After college, he spent one year working with the First United Methodist Church in Hershey as the youth director while waiting tables at a local restaurant Al Mediterranean. A summer was spent living in New York City and working for the television show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire". He attended the Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University where he graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in May of 2007.

It is with great pleasure that Dr. Bill will be joining our practice as an Associate. His assistance will allow us to continue offering you the exceptional care and excellence in dentistry that you have come to know and expect from our practice. His interests are mainly in the general restorative area, promoting the aspects of restorative and preventive needs for children.

Outside the office, you can find Dr. Bill participating in athletics of all sorts! He loves to go for a run with his dog Coleman and is an avid golfer - maybe you'll see him on the links! Be sure to say "hello" next time your in!
